Oscar's Shortlist!
Fun little bit of news that a film we scored, “Hysterical Girl”, is on the shortlist for an Academy Award nomination. This is a such a great film that was brilliantly directed by Kate Novack. You can watch the film now on the New York Times website. The film was set to premiere at the SXSW Film Festival in 2020 but of course, Covid had other plans. The New York Times picked up the film and it’s made it so lots of people can see it. It’s the story of Freud’s only female subject matter and it’s a powerful message, taking Freud down from his throne

During this surreal time we are so happy to have the orchestral phase of this beautiful, heart wrenching film to pour ourselves into. What an honor to be a part of such a magical movie. Scoring a Danny Glover Film "The Drummer"
Just getting to work on a film starring Danny Glover called “The Drummer”. It’s a dark look at Iraq War veterans living with PTSD. Danny carries the film really well and we feel a kinship with this film. We’ll keep you posted on a release date.
